Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association Find Your Place in Healthcare
Hospitals, health systems, and provider organizations across Massachusetts have launched a unified effort to expand the commonwealth’s healthcare workforce.
The “Find Your Place in Healthcare” campaign, led by MHA, began in Summer 2023.
The campaign aims to recruit workers for Massachusetts’ healthcare sector by highlighting healthcare as a place where people of all backgrounds can find purpose, growth, and a variety of fulfilling career opportunities.
The new HealthCareersMA website provides job-seekers with a one-stop-shop to learn about in-demand roles, access resources and local career pages, and hear directly from more than 60 people working in local healthcare.
The campaign also includes a coordinated social media effort using hospitals and health systems’ trusted digital channels. It has produced hundreds of original posts and thousands of engagements and clicks to organizations’ career pages.
With 19,000 estimated job vacancies in Massachusetts acute care hospitals alone, this campaign is just one step that MHA and its members are taking to expand the workforce, while also supporting existing workers and championing legislative reform.
Materials are translated into Cantonese, Haitian Creole, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Spanish. It is inclusive of all healthcare roles, from nurses and clinicians to administrative professionals and support staff.
