Housing is Healthcare: Housing Policy Overview

In light of the historic Affordable Homes Act, MHA is partnering with the Massachusetts Association of Community Development Corporations (MACDC) to share an overview of housing as a health-related social need, the legislation’s relevance to the healthcare community, and its effect on patient health. MACDC will lead a discussion on ways that hospitals can support the rollout of the Massachusetts Healthy Homes Program. They will also share information about statewide resources and support for individuals struggling with housing instability, as well as opportunities for partnership between community development corporations and healthcare organizations.
