Valerie Fleishman is Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer at MHA.  She leads strategic initiatives, innovation, and new business development for the organization.  As a seasoned healthcare leader, Valerie has deep knowledge and expertise in health systems, healthcare innovation, and policy.  She excels in building coalitions, forming strategic partnerships, and fostering collaboration across the healthcare system.

Prior to joining MHA, Valerie was Executive Director of the Network for Excellence in Health Innovation (NEHI). In this role, she provided strategic direction and oversaw the organization’s innovation research, programs, events, governance, membership, and operations. She has authored numerous reports, articles, and briefs on various health policy and innovation issues. Her career also includes experience in management, strategy, and technology consulting in healthcare.

Valerie holds a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. She actively contributes to the healthcare community by serving on several nonprofit healthcare boards.
