As Senior Manager of Healthcare Policy, Kerwin Amo works to advance behavioral health and other public health policy initiatives.

Prior to this role, Kerwin served as the chief of staff to State Representative Marjorie Decker and the Massachusetts House of Representatives’ Joint Committee on Public Health. He has numerous years of experience in healthcare, public health, advocacy, and community organizing. Prior to his time at the State House, Kerwin served as a policy and project coordinator and health justice organizer with Health Care For All. He spent several years as an HIV medical case manager in the pediatric and OBGYN outpatient clinics at Boston Medical Center.

Kerwin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies and Health Promotion from The University of Rhode Island and a Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Law from Boston University School of Public Health.
